Flock
Flock was originally conceived as a response to the pond in the Hannah Peschar Sculpture Garden. The sculpture garden appears completely natural but is in fact designed by Hannah Peschar’s husband, who is a landscape architect. Inspired by this, I responded to the site by envisaging something natural (a flock of birds) and abstracting it as far as possible while still creating the impression of reality.

Flock II, 2009
Flock II was commissioned by the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Edinburgh and is on permanent display in front of the Consulate building.
Flock III, 2009
Flock III won the architect’s competition and was commissioned for the new Factory Outlet Shopping Centre in Lubon near Poznan (Poland) and is on permanent display there.
